It all started with an idea that I, Katie Kory, came up with the idea of Hello Trance after Trance Podium closed and the community splintered based on location in the world.
It was hard for me to find events I could travel to, meet up with other trance fanatics, and connect with the music.
It was hard to find new music if it wasn’t on the biggest labels in trance.
With the permission of Trance Podium founders, the project was born on the 27th January 2023, with the help of Tom Bradshaw to bring the trance community back together around the world.
We built the website and started with just the two of us.
We had very little following initially, but over the course of the year, thanks to you amazing trance lovers from across the globe, we have hit 30,000 impressions on Google Search with over 500 click-throughs with the number climbing each month.
We created a shop, brought on some volunteer article creators, started a podcast and even a YouTube channel launched which is currently sitting at 970 subscribers!
Every day the brand grows stronger.
With the first year come and gone, you may be thinking: “Where does this go next?”
Well, let me tell you that this is only the beginning and we have many projects in the pipeline even bigger than what we’ve done so far.
We cannot announce anything yet but expect to see more interviews, more event listings, and more music to enjoy.
This year will be bigger than the last and keep your eyes peeled for our reporters in the wild.
