The final day of the 14th edition of Luminosity is upon up and is gearing up to be the hottest day yet. Early reports from fellow #trancefamily that made it in at the gates is today a free water station will be posted at the Beachclub Bernie’s stage as temperatures are slated to push well over 30C (85 US). And for those a little more adventurous, the staff of the beach club had someone spraying water over the crowd to cool them off (personally, this drove me to take the long way around). After 3 days of drinking, but after seeing everyone else was going for the water line I settled for a few tall, cold Heinekens.
Today the stages atop of the list were the Copacabana for favourites like Manuel Le Saux, Allen Watts, and Shugz at sunset
Over on Sunset stage artists who have been on my bucket list and never make it over to the US, like Bart Claessen and Signum (who was one of my favourites of the day with his Classics set)
Dropping through the main stage was mandatory for Markus Schulz taking us down the rabbit hole with his darker vibes, Aly & Fila uplifting us with some of my favourite remixes (like Why, Beautiful, Apprehension, & Galaxia), then bouncing over to progressive favourites on the Beachclub Bernie stage on the way to the Sunset stage.
Taking the Trance world by shock on the Copacabana stage at the end of his set, our friend Manuel Le Saux announced his retirement from live shows, making this the last time we’ll see him here on the Luminosity stage – we certainly wish him the best!
Emotions were high running into so many friends on the last day, sharing in our memories of the magical weekend, all the amazing moments, cherished songs played by favourite artists, and capturing one last sunset on the beaches of Zandvoort in 2023.
