Long-established brand Rebooted returned to Sheffield this April to celebrate its 1st birthday, appropriately titled ‘We Come One’.
All of us in the Trance scene were prepared to be blown away by the headlining act, the renowned Bryan Kearney, and the incredible lineup of artists including Scott Bond B2B Dumonde (Jam X), Maria Healy, Danny Stubbs and Connor.
Disclosure: I didn’t get to experience the full night due to other commitments. I hope that Danny Stubbs had a fantastic time at Rebooted, and I’m sorry to have missed your set.
My night kicked off with Scott Bond B2B Dumonde, who played some fantastic trance tunes to the growing crowd. The duo’s chemistry behind the decks was undeniable, as they flawlessly mixed and mashed their way through an electrifying set that showcased the best of trance past and present. From anthemic classics to cutting-edge tracks, Bond and DuMonde left no stone unturned, captivating the audience with every beat drop.
King Kearney, as he is known to his fans, delivered an exceptional set. Full of hits including ‘Take This’ and ‘Kaia Without You’, I got the impression the crowd were eager for more wonders.
Maria Healy took the reins next, delivering a performance that was nothing short of mesmerizing. Her track selection was impeccable, even throwing in ‘Jump The Next Train’ which goes down well with the older generation. Healy’s passion for the music was there, and her infectious energy spread like wildfire throughout Network Sheffield.
My night ended with several goodbyes amongst friends whilst Connor closed out the main stage. I hope the set went well for him, as it’s always tough to follow such big acts during the event.
As Rebooted’s motto goes, Miss This, Miss Out! This was a brilliant birthday event, full of lasers, production, quality trance and an energetic crowd too. Happy Birthday Rebooted. Here’s to the next year of amazing events with you.
You can be a part of the next Rebooted event this July in Sheffield, with a return to the year 1999.
